Tassie's Hope is a no-kill rescue.  Tassie's Hope never euthanizes an animal to make room for another.  This means we can only save as many animals as we have room for.  That's where you come in.  We desperately need loving foster families to care for our rescued pets until we can find good, forever homes for them.  Sure it's hard to say goodbye when one of our foster animals finds the perfect home, but it's the most wonderful feeling to know we helped save the life and give a very deserving animal a bright future.  In the end, the smiles outweigh the tears.  Please contact us today for more information.

Fostering a homeless animal is not easy and there are far too many people who are not willing to "be bothered". In addition to the day to day care of the animal, for foster families, it is often a bittersweet occasion when an animal is placed in it's forever home. It hurts to lose an animal we have cared for and comforted and perhaps even rescued from certain death.

So why foster? Because of the love in the eyes of an animal we have opened our homes and hearts to; because we can make a difference in just this one animals life; because of the joy in seeing an animal once beaten and discouraged, now happily playing with it's friends; because animals can teach us how to be better human beings. There is not enough thanks in the world for what foster families do!
